Online family mediation services

Discover how our online Mediation Service can help you and your family…

The online mediation process can help couples who are separating or divorcing to reach agreements on property, finance, and childcare arrangements. Sometimes it is used as an alternative to using solicitors. In other cases, mediation can run alongside the work of the solicitors.

With recent changes in the UK divorce laws, many now regard mediation as the modern way for couples to deal with separation and divorce more amicably. In many cases, it is less stressful, especially if children are involved, and far more cost-effective than the traditional route of solely using solicitors.

After working with one of our Professional Mediators, you’ll leave the sessions with:

  1. A professional Open Financial Statement for court
  2. A Memorandum of understanding – for your Financial Consent Order for court.
  3. A clear and detailed plan for your future co-parenting together (if you have children together)
  4. A massive saving in the cost of your divorce.
  5. A better future relationship with your former partner.

Contact Your Family Mediation today for a 15 min free consultation to find out how we can help you make this challenging time.

If you and your former partner cannot agree on issues directly related to your children, family mediators can provide a positive and faster alternative to going to family court to make arrangements.

Providing there are no safety issues, judges don’t want to make decisions regarding families they don’t know. They want, where possible, for the parents to decide. You can do this in
mediation.

With recent vouchers introduced by The Ministry of Justice, it is likely that the full cost of your Mediation could be FREE – click here for more info.

After working with one of our professional family mediators, you’ll leave the session with:

  1. A professional Parenting Plan or Child Arrangement Document.
  2. The option (if you decide) to take what has been agreed to Family Court.
  3. A better future relationship with your former partner.
  4. Happier children with parents who successfully co-parent together.

Contact Your Family Mediation today to book your initial online meeting and find out how we can help you make this challenging time, less stressful and have an amicable solution that provides a better future for the whole family, especially the children.

Mediation is used in all areas of life as an alternative to legal aid or going to court to resolve conflicts and disputes. If your family have fallen out following a dispute over a will or if a grandparent wants to establish regular contact with their grandchild following the parents’ divorce, our online family mediation service can help.

Whatever your unique situation, contact us for a free 15 min consultation, and find out how a mediation session can help.

Our mediators are experienced and qualified professionals who will guide you through the process, helping you to find solutions that work for everyone involved. We want what’s best for your family, most importantly the children – finding a way forward that doesn’t involve expensive and protracted legal proceedings.

Online Mediation

During covid and lockdown, all Mediation moved online. Our Client feedback was that they preferred to sit in the comfort of their own home rather than the formal face-to-face Mediation in the same room. We have listened; unless specifically requested, your MIAM and Mediation will ALL happen online, including the initial online session.

Why choose Family Mediation?

Family mediation is the ‘modern way’ to help couples who are separating or divorcing to reach agreements about their children, finances, and property. It involves meeting with a trained mediator online or in person, who will help you to communicate with each other and explore different options to resolve the issues being discussed.

The mediator is impartial and will not take sides. They will help you to look at the issues from different perspectives and find creative solutions that work for you and your family. Family mediation is confidential, meaning that any mediation information will remain private and will not be legally binding in court unless you and the other party agrees.

8 benefits of Family MEDIATION:

  1. Helps people better communicate with each other about the issues that are important to them.
  2. Helps to introduce creative solutions that work for your family
  3. Resolves conflict in a constructive way
  4. You make your own decisions about your future
  5. Saves time and money by dealing with all your issues quickly, sometimes in the first joint mediation meeting
  6. Helps you jointly make arrangements over parenting, property & money.
  7. Let’s you keep more control over your family’s future and, most importantly, put your child’s interests first.
  8. Research shows that agreement is reached in over 70% of all cases.
